With no recent word from Apple concerning Steve Jobs, there are a few things people might be thinking possible. One possibility is that Apple is trying to take Steve out of the picture as he gets older and is getting close to a possible retirment. This woud explain why Steve Balmer (too many Steves) was brought in - he would be a very likely replacement for Jobs.
