Tuvalu, an island belonging to New Zealand, which has always been low in the water - at an average of no more than 6 feet, is now sinking. Tuvalu’s biggest interaction with the internet - .tv domains. But as the quickly sinking island could be gone in 50 years, the question people are asking is, “what about .tv domains?”

Microsoft has recently (fairly quiely) put out a new technology - The Surface (http://tr.im/i3Fo). This “device”, is basically a highly powered and innovative computer connected to a touch screen on a cofee table. This device could be used for everything from sharing pictures to wreading credit cards - no more wasted time spent typing in you credit card info. The possibilities seem endless.
I hope to actually get to use one soon, as I’ve heard there is a store in New York that is trying this as an experiment. i’ll keep you guys posted!
As most people know by now, Obama has recently tried to expand the Presidential powers. I, with my extremely unpopular views, think the government needs to have less of a role, and not give too much power to one person. The president is already a very powerful person, especially when he is as popular as Obama is - he is extremely influential.
This nation was founded by men who were tired of a king. they decided they didn’t want any one man to have too much power. This is where the checks and balances system originated, the system which is becoming less and less important with every administration.
I am personally outraged at how Obama’s administration is trying to expand their powers. They already are some of the most pwerful men (and women) in the world.
